ABOUT ME

I'm a first-generation comedian whose parents are an Egyptian chemist and a physician. If negotiating a writing career with those cautious immigrants isn't proof of my ability to convince, then I don't know what is.

Since finishing my undergrad/MFA at Columbia in the most dramatic way possible, I've:

• written a full-length play, several specs & original pilot

• performed standup at venues all over NYC

• produced sold out shows at NYCC and NYCF

• gone viral several times with my (sometimes) NSFW comedy.

I live for comedy and the scripts that get us there. I'm a sucker for perfect continuity, and airtight word-building. Plus, I've been lucky enough to write copy for some of my all-time heroes, from the Gorillaz, to the cast of Always Sunny, & everyone in between.​​
