ABOUT ME

I'm a first-generation Egyptian, and daughter of a chemist and a doctor. If negotiating a creative career with those cautious immigrants isn't proof of my ability to advertise, then I don't know what is. 

I've written and designed for a wide-range of things. I make no boundary between design, writing, and general hi-jinx. All three are about getting attention and sending a message. 

Whether it's graduating Columbia as Beyonce, or throwing an annual magic school bus party (we actually rent a school bus each year), I'm communicating the same things. Connecting two otherwise disparate things. A historically white, male institution to an underestimated (pre-Lemonade) black singer, or my Arab traditions in NJ with my adult life in New York.

It's nonsense, but it serves a real purpose.
